Well, holy crap. A friend recommended that I start a blog because she seems to think my writing is entertaining (I haven't had her drug tested yet as that might be the source of her humor...but okay). And what do you know? I had already started a blog a few years ago! Well, that just makes things easier.
Not that anyone was paying attention to the danged thing...but if anyone out there in cyberspace missed me, I apologize for my absence. With my new job and other things I have lots to write about. I hope to spend more time here. We'll see. ;-)

This is a blog of funny stories mostly. There are stories from cruises, marriage and mostly from my job as a dispatcher. I do not post the unhappy stories. There is enough unhappiness in the world without my assistance.
The only exception to this rule is the occasional PSA that I will post.
I am not the best about updating my blog. My stories will be sporadic. I am working on collecting my dispatch stories in a different document that takes a lot of my free time. I hope to someday have a book published with the fun stuff from dispatch.
Most of what will be here are my writings over the years. I like to think I am funny so I hope you enjoy my tales. Even if I only get one smile out of you, I will consider my effort a success.
FYI: Things I post about my life are always based in fact. Some are easily taken as fiction but they are in fact true. Exaggeration is kept to an absolute minimum and used mainly for humor value.
